Thought some of you might find this article in the current (as in 2010) issue of the Smithsonian Magazine of interest.

Is it any wonder Bridgette wound up walking away from medicine for awhile?

Bridgette's Report

Obviously this report was written shortly after my own transformation, detailing all that the group had learned of these creatures up to that point. Reading it over again I am given to thinking it might be time to create a new report including many of the additional details we have gathered. It would be of particular import to include information gained whilst fighting the metalic devils in Brazil. Still this report does get many of the basics down.

Current Knowledge of Vampires and Metallic Creatures: Containing a Personal Narrative of Vampiric Transformation

Bridgette's Journal

Well, I certainly can say that life has been anything but dull since meeting up with my fellow companions. It's enough to make me think, sometimes, that the war was actually dull in comparison. Fortunately the feeling shortly passes. Would that the war have indeed been dull, we would have all been better off. However, I digress. Currently we are in St. Louis. I believe that is in the state of Missouri. I've been working diligently - desperately?- for a drug to help subdue the Asian vampires that have descended upon Chicago, making them far easier for our allies, and perhaps some of our foes, to kill. The attempt to replicate the bloodroot without using Sierra's methods has not proven the most successful as of now. However, I have a couple of other possibilities to explore. Hopefully I will have the answer in the next day or two and then we can all depart for elsewhere while things settle down in Chicago. Also, it is nice having C here and in good spirits. Pieter's idea of headphones to dampen the sound have worked wonders. I think this is the first peace C has had in decades.
